Scheduling is more than assigning shifts; it’s about striking the balance that supports business growth while giving teams a healthier work–life rhythm.

At Planday from Xero, we’re working to harness Agentic AI to create a future where managers can effortlessly reclaim valuable time for their teams and their business. We’re not just creating software — we’re committed to making shift work more human and turning work–life balance from a privilege into a standard for all shift workers. Our advanced technology is designed to help people reach their full potential, both professionally and personally.

Founded in 2004 and headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark, Planday helps hundreds of thousands of users worldwide create smart, effective schedules.

If you’re a student seeking practical experience alongside your studies, we’re looking for a detail-oriented, finance-focused Customer Experience Billing Specialist to join us part-time. In this role, you’ll be the main contact for customers with invoice and payment questions, ensuring accurate and efficient billing on the Planday platform. You’ll work within a supportive team of part-time and full-time colleagues who are committed to delivering excellent customer service.

How you’ll make an impact:
• Communicate with customers via email, offering clear and thorough support on invoices, payments, and general billing matters.
• Assist with payment methods, troubleshoot payment issues, and guide customers through payment processes on the platform.
• Investigate and resolve problems independently, providing timely solutions that benefit both customers and Planday.
• Identify and recommend improvements to billing processes to boost efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the wider Customer Experience team to handle complex billing cases and maintain accurate information flow.

What you’ll bring:
• Confidence working with numbers and financial data.
• Fluency in English, with additional languages considered an advantage.
• Comfort with technology and direct customer communication.
• Availability for at least 16 hours per week, including days, evenings, and weekends, with flexibility around exams and monthly shift planning.
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team to resolve technical issues quickly.
• A customer-first mindset and a positive communication style.
• A proactive, creative approach to problem-solving.
• Enthusiasm for learning and developing your customer service and technical skills within an innovative, international environment.
• Preferably at least one year left in your studies, though applicants with less time remaining are still encouraged to apply.

Our offices are more than just workspaces — though they’re comfortable and conveniently located. Plandayers are warm, open, and supportive, and everyone is encouraged to be their authentic self at work.

We believe diversity and inclusion are essential to innovation and a thriving workplace, and we deeply value the perspectives that varied backgrounds bring.

As an equal opportunity employer, we are committed to ensuring a fair process for all candidates. Please let us know if you require any accommodations during the application or interview stages.

All applicants are considered for employment without regard to personal characteristics.
