As a Supply Chain Intern at Penumbra, you will be a key contributor to the production process, gaining hands-on experience in supply planning. You’ll support the supply planning team by helping manage production timelines, optimize inventory levels, and understand the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process.

What You’ll Be Doing:

– Collaborate with the production team to ensure adherence to build schedules.
– Monitor and manage inventory forecasts, working to maintain balanced stock levels across distribution centers.
– Partner with teams in demand planning, marketing, finance, and production to ensure product availability for patient care.

What You’ll Bring:

– Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or a related business field.
– Experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, biotech, or other regulated industries is preferred.
– Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.
– High attention to detail and accuracy.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
– Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Working Environment:

This role is based in a typical office setting. Occasional business travel may be required (up to 5%). The position may involve lifting items up to 5 pounds and moving between office locations. Extended periods of computer use are expected. The role requires the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels.

Hourly Pay Range: $18.00 – $27.00

Compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and location.
