Premise also offers a variety of meaningful and dynamic career paths. We are currently hiring a remote ETL/Talend Data Integration Developer II.

About the Role:
The ETL/Talend Data Integration Developer II will manage all aspects of integration between healthcare systems and databases. This role is part of a team building a foundational data integration platform for the company using SSIS and Talend. While the developer will work on specific projects, they are expected to maintain a broad understanding of enterprise-wide integration efforts. Strong programming skills and technical expertise are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

– Design, develop, test, implement, and troubleshoot integrations between critical business systems.
– Perform advanced data integration between file-based sources and Microsoft SQL.
– Apply strong analytical and diagnostic abilities to resolve issues.
– Write and execute SQL queries.
– Create and refine technical specifications from functional requirements.
– Collaborate with ETL developers, project managers, business analysts, QA, tech operations, and other teams.
– Address and resolve integration issues with vendors.
– Assess and communicate the impact of changes or issues across teams.
– Follow architectural standards, security policies, and development best practices.
– Provide timely updates on project progress and challenges.
– Contribute to team efficiency and productivity.

Job Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
– 3–5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting ETL solutions across multiple data sources, including data analysis and modeling.
– Advanced experience with enterprise-level ETL tools and Java.
– 3–5 years of SQL and MS SQL Server experience.
– Healthcare IT experience preferred.
– Familiarity with EPIC systems and Talend Data Services preferred.
– Experience with version control tools like SVN or GIT preferred.
– Agile project experience preferred.
– Web technology experience preferred.

Preferred Skills:

– Strong Java programming skills.
– Excellent written and verbal communication.
– Strong organizational abilities.

For candidates in California, Colorado, Illinois, Minnesota, New Jersey, Washington, and New York State, the estimated salary range for this position is $80,000 to $95,000.
