Signal is looking for a Technical Support Specialist to help make private communication available to millions of users through our mobile and desktop applications. We’re searching for a proactive individual who enjoys assisting users and solving problems to create a seamless user experience. Signal upholds the highest standards of user privacy, which can be complex to develop and support, but we remain dedicated to our mission of secure and private communication for everyone.

Responsibilities

– Provide clear and respectful support to users through various feedback channels.
– Investigate and analyze reported issues, helping to prioritize them based on impact.
– Translate user feedback into actionable insights for the product team.
– Contribute to the upkeep of our knowledge base.
– Work with engineering teams to identify root causes and gather detailed error reports from users for troubleshooting.

About You

– Over 5 years of experience in technical support.
– Highly organized and self-motivated, with comfort using Android, iOS, Mac, Windows, and Linux.
– Eager to learn, solve problems, and approach challenges with curiosity and a solution-focused mindset.
– Excellent communication skills and empathy for users, with the ability to explain complex topics in a clear and friendly manner.
– Fluent in written English; additional languages are a plus.
