Job Description
We’re seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented QA Tester to help maintain the quality and stability of the PolicyFly platform. This remote position is perfect for someone who enjoys identifying bugs, testing intricate workflows, and contributing to smooth, reliable product releases in a fast-paced environment.
You’ll collaborate closely with our product and engineering teams to test new features, verify updates, and manage issues in Jira. This role offers insight into the operations of a modern insurance platform. What You’ll Do
– Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing on our web-based insurance platform
– Document, track, and confirm bugs using Jira
– Reproduce and isolate edge-case issues across various scenarios
– Analyze requirements and user stories to identify potential test gaps
– Work with product and engineering teams to validate fixes and offer feedback
– Participate in QA sessions to support release readiness
Required Qualifications
– Experience with manual QA testing for software applications, including bug identification and documentation
– Proficiency with Jira for managing test cases and tracking issues
– Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to testing
– Ability to understand and work with mathematical formulas (e.g., insurance pricing)
– General proficiency in Excel
– Fluent in English
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills (essential for remote work)
– Self-motivated and capable of working independently
Preferred Qualifications
– Background in the insurance industry, particularly in underwriting, quoting, or policy administration
– Familiarity with QA frameworks or test planning tools
– Basic knowledge of APIs or browser-based debugging tools
– Experience working in remote team environments

– Type: Full-time (following a paid part-time trial period)
– Location: Remote (preferably within ±3 hours of Eastern Time for collaboration)
