Glama builds and supports the foundational infrastructure of the Model Context Protocol (MCP) ecosystem, enabling developers and organizations to create, launch, and scale MCP-based services.

What We Do

– Manage the largest free public directory of MCP servers, offering open API access.
– Provide private MCP server hosting for over 30,000 active users.
– Develop open-source tools and frameworks such as FastMCP, mcp-proxy, and mcp-client.
– Operate a gateway that connects users to large language models (LLMs) from providers like Anthropic, OpenAI, and Grok.
– Offer an MCP client similar to ChatGPT that allows users to interact with various LLMs.
– Lead the two largest MCP communities on Reddit and Discord.

Role

You’ll be Glama’s first full-time engineer, joining a team that has been entirely founder-led until now. You’ll play a key role in designing, building, and scaling products and infrastructure used by thousands of users daily.

What You’ll Work On

– Enhance and grow the MCP server directory, gateway, and hosting platforms.
– Design backend systems for server discovery, deployment, authentication, and monitoring.
– Create APIs, SDKs, and user interfaces for both developers and end users.
– Contribute to and maintain open-source MCP tools and libraries.
– Engage with and support developer communities on platforms like Reddit and Discord.

What We’re Looking For

– Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, Node.js, and PostgreSQL.
– A commitment to deeply understanding the MCP ecosystem and staying up to date with its evolution.
– Ability to identify technical challenges in MCP systems and contribute innovative solutions to the product roadmap.
