Roman Pennsylvania Medical, P.C. (RPM) is a telehealth organization focused on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. It is part of the Ro provider network, a direct-to-patient healthcare company. RPM providers support patients using Ro’s platform across various specialties, including mental health, women’s and men’s health, fertility, metabolic health, and skincare.

RPM clinicians utilize advanced technology and tools that promote safe, effective care, minimize administrative tasks, and enhance patient-provider communication throughout the care process. Through its partnership with Ro, RPM helps broaden access to affordable, quality healthcare nationwide. Its team includes board-certified physicians, nurse practitioners, and registered nurses licensed to practice in all 50 states and Washington, DC.

As a 6-month contracted Virtual Registered Nurse, you will collaborate with RPM providers and work independently to deliver exceptional patient care via EMR messaging and triage. You are passionate about non-traditional healthcare environments and expanding access to care. You’re capable of handling complex situations and committed to upholding RPM’s standards of care. You’ll report to an RN Lead during your contract.

You have strong communication skills, are tech-savvy, and enjoy problem-solving and teamwork. While you may not know everything about telemedicine, you’re eager to learn and grow.

What You’ll Do:

– Deliver comprehensive clinical care by managing patient needs, including triage, counseling, and education, particularly in Sexual Health and Metabolic Health.
– Handle tasks such as managing side effects, counseling on treatment effectiveness, and supporting clinical operations.
– Coordinate care by escalating patient concerns to the appropriate teams following Ro’s protocols.
– Triage patient inquiries and adverse events, directing them to the appropriate medical professionals.
– Use a custom EMR system to respond to medical questions, educate patients, and provide lifestyle and holistic health guidance.
– Follow best practices and internal policies for nursing care.
– Review lab results using established protocols to offer personalized coaching and education for weight management.
– Support the non-clinical Care Team by addressing clinical questions and concerns.

What You’ll Bring:

– Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
– Active, unrestricted Compact Nursing License
– Bonus: Additional unrestricted licenses in non-compact states (AK, CA, CT, DC, HI, IL, MA, MI, MN, NV, NY, OR)
– At least 4 years of RN clinical experience
– Experience in fast-paced, dynamic clinical settings
– Strong written and verbal communication skills
– Comfort with technology
– Ability to work independently and take initiative
– Strong sense of ownership and responsibility
– Ability to balance quality care with performance metrics
– Willingness to work some nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

Available Schedules:

Option 1 – 4×10 (four 10-hour shifts/week)
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
Hours: 1:00 PM – 11:00 PM EST

Option 2 – 4×10 (four 10-hour shifts/week)
Schedule: Sunday–Wednesday
Hours: 1:00 PM – 11:00 PM EST

Option 3 – 4×10 (four 10-hour shifts/week)
Schedule: Wednesday–Saturday
Hours: 1:00 PM – 11:00 PM EST

Note: While we aim to accommodate preferences, final schedules are based on business needs.

Salary: $90,000 annually
