Medical Assistant at Curai

Curai Health Medical Group is looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our remote clinical team for the weekend shift (Saturday–Monday, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM PT). In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering high-quality, virtual-first primary care to patients nationwide. You’ll support clinicians by managing follow-ups, coordinating care, and guiding patients through their healthcare journey via a chat-based platform.

Our care model is supported by AI-powered tools and electronic health records (EHRs), enabling us to deliver efficient, thoughtful care around the clock. We’re seeking someone who thrives in a fast-paced, fully remote environment, is comfortable with technology, and is passionate about expanding access to care.

What You’ll Do

– Assist clinicians with patient coordination tasks, including:
– Communicating with pharmacies and supporting prescriptions
– Managing referrals and prior authorizations
– Scheduling and conducting follow-up outreach
– Communicate with patients in a compassionate, patient-centered manner
– Accurately document tasks and interactions in the EHR
– Identify and escalate workflow issues as needed
– Participate in team meetings and quality improvement initiatives
– Perform other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need

– Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
– At least 3 years of experience as a medical assistant
– Minimum 1 year of telemedicine experience
– Availability to work the weekend shift: Saturday–Monday, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM PT
– Ability to work independently and manage a high volume of patient interactions
– Comfort using evolving technologies, including AI tools and digital platforms
– Strong written communication and organizational skills
– Willingness to work assigned holidays as part of your regular schedule
– Spanish fluency is a plus

The pay range for this role is $18–22 per hour. Actual compensation will depend on experience, skills, and location.
