As a Windows and VMware Administrator, you’ll be responsible for managing, securing, and optimizing client Windows server environments and VMware infrastructure. This role demands a solid technical background, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to maintain system stability and performance while delivering top-tier support.

What You’ll Do:

– Manage Windows Server environments (2016, 2019, and newer), including setup, configuration, patching, and performance optimization
– Administer core Microsoft services like Active Directory, GPOs, DNS, NTP, and DHCP
– Support VMware infrastructure (vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, HA, DRS)
– Maintain both virtual and physical servers in data center environments
– Conduct monthly patching using centralized tools
– Implement security best practices and support vulnerability management
– Provide technical support and resolve issues related to Windows and VMware
– Perform Root Cause Analysis for incidents and resolve complex problems
– Collaborate on infrastructure planning, upgrades, and migrations
– Assist with server decommissioning and migrations
– Maintain detailed documentation for systems and procedures
– Coordinate with vendors for support and procurement
– Demonstrate a strong work ethic focused on client success
– Participate in an on-call rotation for escalated support

What We’re Looking For:

– 5–8 years of experience in IT infrastructure, with hands-on expertise in Windows Server and VMware
– Proficient in Windows Server 2016/2019 administration
– Skilled in VMware technologies (vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, HA, DRS)
– Experience with VMware datastores and storage systems (SAN, NAS, iSCSI, NFS)
– PowerShell scripting for automation and administration
– Solid understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, firewalls)
– Willingness to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation
– Proven experience in data center environments
– Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
– Excellent communication and customer service skills
– Ability to work independently and manage tasks
– Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) is a plus
– Relevant certifications (e.g., VCP-DCV, Azure Administrator) are advantageous
