About the Role
We are looking for an experienced System Administrator with strong skills in Windows Server and cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS). You will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, security, and optimization of both cloud and on-premises systems. Your goal will be to ensure high availability, performance, and security across all environments.
This position requires a strong background in system administration, troubleshooting, and diagnostics, along with hands-on experience in Windows Server and cloud platforms. You should be detail-oriented, a strong problem solver, and capable of delivering secure and efficient infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities
– Deploy, configure, and monitor IaaS/PaaS workloads in Azure and/or AWS EC2.
– Support hybrid identity environments, including Azure AD Connect, SSO, and identity synchronization.
– Configure and manage cloud networking (VNet, NSG, VPN Gateways, Route Tables, etc.).
– Apply system updates and compliance configurations using tools like Azure Update Manager or AWS Systems Manager.
– Implement and manage backup and monitoring solutions (Azure Backup, Azure Monitor, CloudWatch).
– Administer Windows Server environments (2016, 2019, 2022), including setup, patching, and performance tuning.
– Automate tasks using PowerShell, CLI, or Infrastructure as Code tools (ARM, Bicep, Terraform).
– Manage core Microsoft services like AD DS, GPOs, DNS, DHCP, and NTP.
– Maintain Windows Server infrastructure in Azure/AWS, including VMs, storage, and networking.
– Ensure security and compliance of Windows and cloud infrastructure; support vulnerability management.
– Manage VMware infrastructure (vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, HA, DRS) as needed.
– Support physical and virtual servers in both data center and cloud environments.
– Monitor performance, capacity, and cost optimization across environments.
– Provide technical support and incident management, including Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
– Collaborate on infrastructure planning, upgrades, migrations, and modernization.
– Maintain detailed documentation of systems, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
– Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to customer success.
– Communicate effectively with clients and manage escalations independently.
– Participate in an on-call rotation for escalated support.
Required Qualifications
– 5–10 years of experience in IT infrastructure, with hands-on expertise in Windows Server and cloud (Azure or AWS).
– 5+ years of experience with a major cloud platform (Azure or AWS).
– 5+ years of experience in Windows Server administration (2016, 2019).
– Proficient in cloud technologies.
– Skilled in PowerShell scripting and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation).
– Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to manage client expectations and complex projects.
– Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, firewalls).
– Willingness to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
– Experience supporting infrastructure in data center environments.
– Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
– Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively.
– Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
